The "Cat Stuff"

I had been breeding Himalayan and Persian cats since 1990 and selling the kittens as pets to other cat lovers like myself.  Because of my tremendous passion for cats, I have a tendency to pick up about every "cat" item that I find, no matter where I go. As people would come to pick up their kittens, they would see all of my "stuff", and badger me to sell my things to them. This started an "Items for Sale" area in my garage so that I could keep MY stuff.  Kitten buyers could purchase what they liked, take it home with their new babies, and enjoy it in their homes.

The "Dog Stuff"

After taking a few too many "guilt trips", I was persuaded to carry dog items as well for my fellow dog loving friends. This was not as big a market because I did not have puppy people in and out of my house continuously.  The majority of my "dog stuff" sales were from people that I worked with, or that began hearing rumors that I was selling toys and treats for dogs.

The "Grandchildren"
 

Having grandchildren was more fun than anything that I had ever done!  My first grandson was born on May 24, 2003, and what an elation that was for me!  Ryan had a tough start, which pushed the need for my daughter to stay home with him until he could get through the tough edge of seizures.  In order to try to help my daughter and her new family, I started my eBay store and eBay auctions.  Next, the Perpetual Garage Sale, LLC website!  This began the start of a whole new idea in garage sales.

 The "Quarry Critters"

One of my personal favorites are the Second Nature Design Quarry Critters collection.  I knew that I would easily be able to sell the cat figurines because I had first hand knowledge of exactly how other cat breeders saw this type of collectible.  After all, they were cats!  It seemed many of the kitten purchasers wanted at least 3 or 4 of my cat Quarry Critters, so I started carrying them along with my other cat toys, treats, beds, etc.  Ryan's mom is as infatuated with frogs as I am cats, so I had to start getting them as well.  From here, the inventory continued.

The "12-Step Recovery Items"

Having been married to an alcoholic for 22 1/2 years, I wanted to support anyone that had the strength and courage to get straight and sober, but more importantly, STAY that way!  My ex-husband maintained sobriety for 10 1/2 years, and then was enticed to fall right back into the addiction, as some 90% plus, alcoholic and drug addicts do.  This lead me to the sobriety book covers and 12-step gifts.

Somehow, it just keeps on growing!
