Shipping & Handling
The time needed to ship merchandise will vary depending on the shipment's
location and the particular time of year. Customers should expect a 5 to 14 day
delivery time, leaning more towards the faster delivery, but allowing for the
variance depending on demand. If this shipment is being sent outside of
the Continental United States, please allow at least 30 days for your shipment
to arrive. Most times you will receive your purchase much sooner, but
occasionally the customs departments create longer delivery times.
Shipping Methods. Merchandise will be shipped using United States Postal Service where possible.
Damaged Shipments. Damaged shipments from handling must be claimed with the USPS, and not The Perpetual Garage Sale. We are not responsible for damage caused by the mail carrier. If you elected not to include the insurance, there will be nothing that can be done to assist you with the damage. If you did purchase insurance, I will help you with any information that I may have available!
Manufacturers Defects. If a product appears to have a defect not annotated in the listing of the product, contact us immediately, and we will work out a viable resolution for both of us.
Return Merchandise Policy. For questions about returning merchandise please contact us immediately at email@example.com, and include the item/s you are intending to return and reason for the return. We will respond to your email within 48 hours with the instructions for handling your return and the expectations to make the transaction smooth. The return of non-defective merchandise, when authorized, may incur 20% re-stocking fee at our discretion. No returns will be authorized after 14 days from the receipt of shipment.
Once a return is authorized by our email, you should:
- Return the item to the address given to you in the email.
- Keep your shipping records for proof of shipment in the event of loss of returned merchandise. Returns shipped via U.S. Postal Service (U.S.P.S.) or with a value of over $100.00 should be insured. We can not be held liable for return merchandise that does not reach our return department.
We will refund shipping costs only if the return is a result of an error on our part. You are responsible for all freight charges on shipments that are refused or returned through no fault of ours. We are not responsible for incidental or consequential damages or losses to defective products, errors in shipping your order, or other errors created by you. The limit of our liability is the replacement cost of any item you purchase from us.
